Honeywell Wireless Smoke CO Detector 5800COMBO
Multi-threat detection. Honeywell’s 5800COMBO is the industry’s first professionally monitored, wireless, combination Smoke and Carbon Monoxide (CO) detector designed to help protect people and property.
Using four sensing elements, the 5800COMBO provides true multi-threat detection and reacts fast to real danger—while helping to reduce false alarms. A photo-electric chamber senses airborne smoke particulates while an electro-chemical sensor monitors the CO bi-product produced by slow smoldering fires.
Reduced risk. The Honeywell detector also features infrared (IR) flame sensing that measures ambient light levels and flame signatures, while thermal detection monitors temperature. Sophisticated and trusted algorithms interpret and respond to multiple inputs and provide the false alarm immunity expected in the most critical applications. Automatic drift compensation of Smoke and CO sensors accommodates for dust build-up over time. Additionaly, the reliable electro-chemical sensor has a 10-year lifespan.
Safety you can see and hear. Audible annunciation is provided by a built-in 85 dB piezo sounder with a one-inch voice speaker that supports multi-language alarm feedback. A prominent, 360° viewable LED shows visual alerts. A smoke alarm condition illuminates red, a CO alarm condition illuminates blue, and a tri-color status LED intuitively indicates the operating mode. View or download the 351180-A spec sheet.
Honeywell Farenhyt SWIFT Wireless System Gateway WIPD-WGI
SWIFT® Wireless System can be applied in many situations that are problematic for traditional wired devices. In cases where areas of a building are difficult or impossible to wire, visually sensitive, or have restricted access, SWIFT wireless sensors provide an efficient, reliable solution. SWIFT wireless devices communicate via a proprietary wireless mesh protocol to communicate with a Honeywell Farenhyt Series fire alarm system by means of a SWIFT Wireless Gateway (WIDP-WGI). The SWIFT Gateway connects to the SLC loop of the IFP-75, IFP-300, IFP- 300ECS, IFP-2100 or IFP-2100ECS panels using IDP protocol.
Wireless devices in a SWIFT network develop “parent-child” communication links with other devices in the mesh, so that a message originating from a remote device “hops” to the closest parent device, and then to successive parent devices until the message reaches gateway. Alternate paths are also identified and supervised by the SWIFT protocol providing approved Class A wireless communication. If a device does not have an established communication path with adequate signal strength, an additional device such as a wireless module may be installed in between so that it will act as a repeater. The WIDP-WGI supports up to 50 devices: 1 SWIFT Gateway and up to 49 wireless detectors and monitor modules. View or download the WIPD-WGI spec sheet.
Honeywell Farenhyt SWIFT Intelligent Wireless Detectors
Farenhyt SWIFT® wireless detectors are intelligent (addressable detectors which provide secure, reliable communication to the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) across a Class A mesh network. Wireless detectors create an opportunity for applications where it is costly (concrete walls/ceilings, buried wires), obtrusive (surface mount conduit), or possibly dangerous (asbestos) to use traditional wired devices. In addition, both wired and wireless devices can be present on the same FACP providing an integrated wired-wireless solution for increased installation potential.
The SWIFT detection line includes a photoelectric, photo/thermal, standard fixed heat, and rate-of-rise heat detectors. The photoelectric detectors transmit a digital representation of smoke density through a wireless mesh to a gateway and on to a FACP. The photo/thermal detectors combine a photoelectric chamber and a 135°F fixed temperature heat detector. The fixed heat detector and rate-of-rise detectors utilize sensors designed for open area protection with 50 foot spacing capability as approved by UL 521.
All sensors offer addressable code wheels and two LEDs. The LEDs are controlled by the panels. Operation modes include red, green, and amber colors with various solid or blink patterns. The mesh network within the SWIFT system creates a child-parent relationship between the devices so that each device has two parents providing a second path for communications on every device. If one device can no longer operate for any reason, the rest of the devices can still communicate with each other, directly or through one or more intermediate devices. The SWIFT system also engages frequency hopping to prevent system interference whether intentional or accidental. View or download the SWIFT wireless detectors spec sheet.
Honeywell Farenhyt SWIFT Intelligent Wireless Modules
SWIFT® wireless modules are intelligent addressable modules which provide secure, reliable communication to the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) across a Class A mesh network. Wireless modules create an opportunity for applications where it is costly (concrete walls/ceilings, buried wires), obtrusive (surface mount conduit), or possibly dangerous (asbestos) to use traditional wired devices. In addition, both wired and wireless devices can be present on the same FACP providing an integrated wired-wireless solution for increased installation potential.
The mesh network within the SWIFT system creates a childparent relationship between the devices so that each device has two parents providing a second path for communications on every device. If one device can no longer operate for any reason, the rest of the devices can still communicate with each other, directly or through one or more intermediate devices.
The SWIFT system also engages frequency hopping to prevent system interference whether intentional or accidental. The SWIFT monitor module is intended for use with a wireless gateway to interface with a device having contacts used to signal status conditions. It is designed to provide an interface to contact devices such as security contacts, waterfl ow switches, or pull stations. The input to the monitor module is non-latching and does not require a reset. The device has a panel controlled LED indicator. The monitor module must be within 3- feet of the monitored device when using field wiring or 20 feet in nonmetallic conduit. View or download the SWIFT Wireless Modules spec sheet.
Honeywell Farenhyt SWIFT Wireless Pullstation WIDP-PULL-DA
The Honeywell® SWIFT® addressable pull station is a dual-action, manual pull station with a key-lock reset feature that provides one addressable alarm initiating input. The pull station features similar aesthetic design and durable construction characteristics as the wired counterpart to blend seamlessly throughout the environment. The device communicates to the FACP through the SWIFT mesh network and gateway, and is powered by 4 batteries offering a 2-year, UL listed battery life.
Installation is fast and straightforward by using a mounting plate that can be surface mounted. Once the mounting plate is firmly attached to the wall, the pull station is snapped into place and locked down with 3 screws.
The mechanical operation is simple and easy to use in an emergency with a PUSH IN/PULL DOWN handle that latches in the down position to clearly indicate the station has been operated while the word “ACTIVATED” appears on top of the handle in bright yellow, further indicating the operation of the station.
The wireless pull station meets the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines’ (ADAAG) controls and operating mechanisms guidelines (section 4.1.3[13]) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirement for a 5-pound maximum pull force to activate the pull station and conforms to ANSI/UL Standard 38.
The SWIFT wireless system offers intelligent (addressable) devices which provide secure, reliable communication to the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) across a Class A mesh network. Wireless devices create an opportunity for applications where it is costly (concrete walls/ceilings, buried wires), obtrusive (surface mount conduit), or possibly dangerous (asbestos) to use traditional wired devices. In addition, both wired and wireless devices can be present on the same FACP providing an integrated wiredwireless solution for increased installation potential. .
